Programmes

• Access to clean water

  Tanmeia funds the construction of water pumps, wells, boreholes, and other water and sanitation facilities in several countries, including Somalia, Yemen, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Togo, Syria, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, and Mauritania.
• Cultural and religious projects

  Furnishing and equipping libraries, providing prayer carpets, and religious books.
• Development and capacity building projects

  Providing support for sustainable community development and rehabilitation. Projects include building and equipping bakeries, food carts, small shops, dairy farms, fishing boats, sewing workshops, home bakeries, and others.
• Education projects

  Building schools, education and cultural centres, Quran and Arabic learning programmes, and school tuition and teacher salaries assistance. Those projects are located in Bangladesh, Somalia, Mauritania, Kyrgyzstan, Yemen, and Tanzania.
• General projects

  Purchasing and distributing food packages, including meat, bread, and basic staple foods.
• Health projects

  Establishing and funding health projects in disadvantaged communities to tackle mortality rates, diseases, and support the overall health and wellbeing of people in those communities. These projects include the construction or refurbishing of health clinics and pharmacies, distribution of first aid kits, wheelchairs, and crutches, eye surgeries and tonsillectomies, provision of mobile clinics and ambulances, and medical volunteer missions.
• Islamic endowment (Waqf)

  Tameia manages a number of Islamic endowment programmes whereby assets are donated and entrusted to the organisation to be used for the charitable or philanthropic purposed. Tanmeia's waqf programmes include ones dedicated to supporting the Rohingya population, orphans worldwide, planting olive groves, and building mosques.
• Seasonal projects

  Supplying underprivileged families with winter assistance packages, school bags and stationery, and Eid packages (including clothes and shoes).
• Shelter and housing projects

  Supporting the stability and wellbeing of displaced and migrant families in areas where people are seeking asylum and areas where people are being displaced. Projects include the construction of houses, and the refurbishing and furnishing homes of poor families.
• Sponsorship programmes

  Contributing to the sponsorship or adoption of orphans, poor families, school and university tuitions of students from low-income families, people with disabilities or major illnesses, teachers from low-income families, and other disadvantaged people.
