Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation
Founded in 2011, Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation (Alf) is a Qatari nonprofit organisation registered under the country's founder, HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Bin Faisal Al-Thani. The organisation was established with a vision “to empower people by giving them something that cannot be taken away". Alf aims to educate, engage and empower individuals, especially young people, in Qatar and globally by contributing to the development of healthcare and socio-cultural education, as well as youth empowerment, through skills and development workshops.

Programmes
Arabic Language Award
The Arabic Language Award is given to participants in the Arabic Language program. The competition is divided into five main competitions, namely story writing, poetry, speech, dictation and calligraphy. The award targest students in both middle and secondary school across Qatar. The programme ended in 2020.
Destination Imagination
The programme aims to empower students and provide them with the required skills for easy integration into the job market. It operated across 16 countries from 2014 until 2020.
Education Research Award
The Education Research Award is granted annually to researchers in scientific research, including academic researchers, teachers, school administrators, or professional practitioners; with the aim of promoting research and knowledge production, improving educational practices, and developing educational policies.
Farm Your Country
A nutritional education programme for students aimed at promoting healthy food choices by addressing the high obesity and diabetes rates in the Gulf. The programme ran from 2014 until 2020.
Qudrat
Qudrat aims to empower youth with the knowledge and tools to enable them to contribute actively and ethically to their community, country and the world as global citizens.
Skills Workshops
Workshops presented by professionals and highly specialized people in different fields to empower students. Workshops covered all fields of STEAM education (Scientific, Technical, Engineering, Arts and Mechanical), as well as soft skills. The programme was cancelled in 2019.
